A. PASSION FOR PREACHING:
At GOGCS, our passion for Preaching the Word of God is borne out one of the articles of faith subscribed to by all Christians which holds firm that, the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the living, infallible, and everlasting rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. (II Timothy 3:15-17; I Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).
We believe that one of the ways to salvation is knowing and living the word of God. Therefore, we firmly believe in the assertion of the psalmist King David who says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105. We are not only passionate about preaching the word, but the passion to live by it.

D. PASSION FOR PROPHETIC MINISTRATION
2 Kings 2:15 “At the height of our praise worship and soulful renditions by the congregation, ecstatic waves of the Holy Spirit becomes dominant so much that revelations come in droves from God. The atmosphere becomes ignited while the house of prayer becomes super electrified with the mighty presence of God.
At every worship, we are accustomed to witnessing something akin to the heart-rending and life changing experience of Prophet Isaiah during his commissioning by God in Isaiah chapter 6. At this hour, the Holy spirit takes the driver’s seat and a flurry of activities of prophetic ministration are witnessed and all members and guests share in the palpable presence of the holy spirit.

B. PASSION FOR PRAYERS:
Our prayer sessions are at GOGCS are a combination of emotional and powerful communication to heavens. It is always a very momentous period of making the unimaginable happen. Our voices and supplications tear open the heavens with a twofold results of raining down blessings from heaven and tearing down the strongholds of Satan, his cohorts and his emissaries. For the numerous benefits we have received through prayers in our few years of existing as a church, we cannot, but make prayer a serious business at all services.
This passion for prayer also birthed the idea of our once in a month ‘no holds barred prayer session’ tagged MY HOUR OF GLORY which holds every last Saturday of the month starting 10:00 a.m.

E. PASSION FOR PEOPLE
The passion for people at GOGCS is phenomenal! Borne out of the passion and love of God for mankind with a gift of an only son where the world experienced the greatest love that ever can and will be, it is somewhat a church creed to be passionate about one another. The foundation of  

C. PASSION FOR PRAISE:
The GOGCS choir is a naturally gifted group while members themselves are all exceptionally endowed in one aspect of praise or another. The seemingly rapturous environment in the sanctuary in those hours of praise through songs and the way the local African drums and percussions fill the atmosphere up will be a thriller to anybody. Praise through music to the Lord is an integral part our worship assembly and church.

The founder, Moses Orimolade Tunolase, was born in 1879, into the quarters of the royal family of Omoba Ode Sodi of Okorun, in Ikare, Nigeria. Records show that Orimolade's life began strangely. His mother, Madam Odijoro, said that when she was pregnant, she went to the farm to cut some firewood as her practice when, on a particular day as she was ready to leave, she realized she could not lift the firewood she had cut.

Suddenly, she heard a voice telling her the easiest way to lift all of the firewood. She looked around but could not find anyone. Then, the voice said, "Do not be frightened, I am the child in your womb. Follow my advice and be on your way." She claimed to have been able to lift the firewood with the help of the unknown voice.
